DESCRIPTION:The Algoma University Hunger Freeze Food Drive returns as part of the 2026 Bon Soo Winter Carnival, inviting university leadership, staff, students, and community members to brave the cold in support of local food pantries—including the Algoma University Students’ Union (AUSU) Food Pantry.\nThere are two ways to help:\n\nSign up to plunge and fundraise as part of the Hunger Freeze team\nDonate non-perishable food items or make a monetary contribution\nJoin the fun as a vendor!\n\nAs fundraising milestones are reached, registered plungers will take the plunge—helping raise awareness about food insecurity and inspiring community action.
