Public Lecture Featuring Rhonda Mullins
The English department’s Algoma Reads course run by Dr. Alice Ridout will be hosting speaker, Rhonda Mullins. Rhonda is the translator for the CBC Reads 2019 book finalist, Suzanne, written by Anais Barbeau-Lavalette. Rhonda will be giving a public lecture on Tuesday, October 8th from 5:30 pm to 7 pm in Algoma University’s Doc Brown lounge, located in room 205 of the East Wing. The event is ‘pay what you can’ and beverages will be provided. Everyone is welcome! Come out and join Algoma University in highlighting the importance of reading and celebrating Canadian writers and their incredibly moving stories.
