Monday, September 16:
10am – 1pm: Meet Anishinaabe Initiatives and SASA representatives
- located in the NW corridor, beside the security desk
- meet our Anishinaabe initiatives staff and SASA Executives
1:00 pm -2:30pm – Historical Campus Tour
- Shingwauk residential schools centre ( EW202)
- Learn about the history of the former shingwauk and wawanosh indian residential schools
Tuesday, September 17:
12:30pm – 5:00pm – Super Wow (work on whatever)
- Shingwauk Auditorium (SH300)
- We will have a community representative assisting with sewing projects throughout the day
Wednesday, September 18:
11:00am -12noon – Osap information session
- Anishinaabe Student Lif
- e Centre (sh312)
- Nicole muskaluk, financial aid and awards officer
5:00pm – Welcome Feast hosted by AID, SASA and SKG, Shingwauk Auditorium (SH300)
Thursday, September 19:
7am – Powley Day, sunrise ceremony followed by breakfast
- Meet in the fire arbour @ 7Am
11am – 3Pm – Dan Pine Healing Lodge Visit
- Medicine Picking and outdoor venturing. Students will be required to register and sign waivers
Friday, September 20: (rain date is Sept 27)
9am & 11am – Big Canoe Experience – sign up is mandatory
- Paddle the St. Mary’s River. Students will be required to register and sign waivers.
