Brampton Psych Social!

Psych Brampton Social with Careers Talk from professor Chantal Lemieux
Thursday, December 1st from 4:00 – 7:00  PM
LL Lounge (in 24 Queen St., building)

Psychology Students in Brampton of all years are invited to a Social event to meet the new Full-Time Professor on Campus, Chantal Lemieux. Dr. Lemieux will give a quick Program and Careers presentation followed by answering questions.

Food, drinks, and games are provided. No need to sign-up just show up to the party!

This is your chance to experience the Rubber Hand Illusion where we trick your brain into thinking a rubber hand is your real hand. This is also your chance to meet new psych students and meet the new prof on campus and ask any questions you might have.

About Professor Chantal Lemieux:
Dr. Chantal Lemieux started at Algoma University this past August. She has a Phd in Experimental Psychology from the University of Ottawa. Next semester she is teaching Sensation and Perception, Laboratory in Psychological Science, and Special Topics: Gender Differences in Cognition. If you have the prerequisites for these courses, I highly recommend signing up for them ASAP – they are guaranteed to be in-person and are very cool and fun courses with illusions and demonstrations.

We can’t wait to see all Psych students on December 1st!
