CCDI Webinar: Pathways towards truth and reconciliation – Panel conversation
The EDI office invites you to participate in this CCDI Webinar: Pathways towards Truth and Reconciliation—Panel conversation.
Each year on September 30, across Turtle Island, we wear orange to honour the legacy and lives of Indigenous residential school survivors, those who returned home and those who never did. More than just one day a year, truth involves learning and knowing the historical and current reality for Indigenous Peoples, and reconciliation involves repairing this reality through good relations and prioritizing Indigenous inclusion and safety. CCDI is honoured to host and welcome diverse Indigenous professionals and panellists, to discuss how workplaces across Canada can implement the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s calls to action, now in their ninth year, and create pathways towards truth, repair, respect and Indigenous inclusion.
Audience/Level: This webinar panel conversation welcomes participants of all levels who want to learn more about how workplaces across Canada can implement the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s calls to action and create meaningful pathways toward Indigenous inclusion and safety.
