The Ontario Government announced on February 12, 2021 that several regions in Ontario would be removed from lockdown and placed in designated colour zones as of February 16, 2021. The Sault Ste. Marie Campus was moved into the Yellow Zone (Protect) and the gradual reopening of campus has now commenced, as outlined here.

The Ontario government has reiterated the need for everyone to do their part in following public health orders. We all need to find ways to stay home and connect virtually. Upon great consideration and thought, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our annual Gathering at the Rapids Pow Wow.

In the spirit of ensuring that we gather safely, an alternative event is planned. We will be hosting a Virtual Drum Social Event on Saturday March 6th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
