Hayes Jenkinson Lecture

George Elliott Clarke (poet, playwright, academic—and currently Canada’s Parliamentary Poet Laureate) will give this year’s Hayes Jenkinson Lecture at 6:30pm on Wednesday, March 29 in the Shingwauk Auditorium.
His talk is titled “Musings on the Poet as Public Intellectual.”

This is a one-hour community outreach event to promote and inform the community about Algoma Reads. Algoma Reads is a new course based on the five Canada Reads books.
