Algoma University and the Soo Finnish Nordic Ski Club are proud to host the Ontario University Athletics Nordic ski championships at Hiawatha Highlands, Sault Ste. Marie’s premier destination for winter sport.

Hiawatha Highlands is a premier destination for winter recreation and sport. They offer over 50 km of Ski trails, 14 km of Snowshoeing, as well as Fat Biking trails. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the whispering pines and the magnificent views of our winter wonderland.

Emergency Action Plan
Signal with a closed fist with arm in the air if assistance is needed. Host therapist will be on site at all times during the competition. The Canadian Ski Patrol will be on site. In addition, the Sault Search and Rescue will be on site, with 2 medical responders anchored at the start and finish, along with a mobile medical responder on a snow machine.
