John R. Rhodes Scholarship Dinner tickets sell out one month ahead of event 

Algoma University is delighted to announce that Orlando M. Rosa will be the 2024 Honouree at the annual John R. Rhodes Scholarship Dinner and Art Auction on October 24,

(SAULT STE. MARIE – ON, September 23, 2024): On the International Day of Peace, Algoma University was honoured as the recipient of the inaugural Global Education for Peace Award, presented by the STAR Scholars Network, a transnational organization supporting a new generation of scholars working across borders on social impact.

Algoma University researchers have been awarded a total of $107,038 in funding through the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF). 

The JELF supports Canadian universities by providing funding for infrastructure such as labs,
