Black History Month Celebration – SSM Dinner

In this lecture, we approach the concept of black consciousness from a realistic perspective by engaging the principles of Self-awareness, Family, Perseverance, Unity, Indigeneity and Spirituality. The metaphor of a shock absorber is used to establish the resilience that embody the black community in our struggles to survive, create and maintain wealth while making Canada our home.
