Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP)
The EFAP is a free and anonymous program which offers short-term counseling and support related to a wide variety of issues, including relationship issues, depression and anxiety, stress management, grief and bereavement, work and family balance, parenting, gambling, substance use and work-related problems. Brianne Pringle, CHRL (she/her)
Director, People and Culture

Brianne oversees all aspects of the People & Culture team and supports the institution’s strategic priorities specific to Organizational Culture and EDI initiatives. Brianne leads all labour and employee relations work as well as supporting the leadership team with all people related matters, including recruitment and strategic planning.
Brianne is currently the institutional lead for the COVID-19 Response.
Amanda Silverthorn, MBA, CHRL (she/her)
Manager, Labour & Workplace Experience

Amanda supports all Labour and Employee relations work and leads the Health, Safety and Wellness Portfolio. Amanda plays an active role in ensuring resources and supports are available to maintain a positive workplace culture.
Amanda is currently overseeing the Pension & Benefits portfolio and will be Brianne’s back-up as required.
Mirella Allard
Manager, Talent & Development

Mirella is a key member of the People & Culture team and plays a leadership role in the University’s goal of creating a positive work environment for all employees. Her role will focus on developing positive relationships with internal community stakeholders while contributing to a culture of mutual respect across all three campuses. The position will provide leadership in the development, and implementation of policies, programs, and training to meet the needs of the organization.

Jaqueline is the main point of contact for recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, pension and benefits. Jaqueline supports all efforts related to employee rewards such as Service Awards, Thunderbird Awards and helping design and implement an employee recognition program across the institution.

Luci is responsible for supporting all health, safety and wellness efforts across our institution. Luci ensures our campuses are equipped with the necessary resources and equipment to create a safe working and learning environment. Luci is currently responsible for supporting all COVID-19 related efforts as well.
