Algoma University is thrilled to once again participate in the Bon Soo Polar Bear Plunge, rallying students, staff, faculty, alumni, and community partners for the 2025 ‘Hunger Freeze’ campaign. This vital fundraising initiative supports local food pantries, including the Algoma University Student Food Pantry, reinforcing the University’s commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive community.

Please contribute canned goods or financially donate at the George Leach Centre, YMCA, Group Health Centre, Northern Community Centre, YNCU Curling Centre, YNCU Bay and Trunk Road locations, Interfor, or online through the CanadaHelps fundraising platform (link here).
