Leaders from Algoma University (AU) and NOSM University have signed a collaboration agreement that sets the stage for an increased NOSM University presence on Algoma’s Sault Ste. Marie campus, primarily to help expand mental health and addictions research and training initiatives.

This government-funded initiative aims to increase the internationalization of research on Canadian campuses as well as serves as a way to provide international research opportunities to Canadian students.

The Department is offering a new minor in Creative and Professional Writing (24 credits / 8 courses) on its Sault Ste.
