The Shingwauk Residential Schools Centre will be hosting a Jane’s Walk on the former sites of the Shingwauk and Wawanosh Indian Residential Schools on Friday, May 5 from 2:30pm – 3:30pm.
The Archives of Ontario has unveiled a special exhibition titled “Family Ties: Ontario Turns 150” in Toronto, Ontario. One of the families highlighted in the exhibition is the family of Chief Shingwauk.
