Algoma U to Host Information Session for Prospective Students

(SAULT STE. MARIE, ON – November 3, 2016): Algoma University invites all prospective students and their families to attend an information session on Wednesday, November 9th starting at 7:00pm in the Shingwauk Auditorium. Students in attendance will have a chance to win a scholarship to the University.

There are many reasons local students should consider studying at Algoma University.  In addition to receiving an outstanding education, local students have the opportunity to play varsity sports, get involved in student government (the Algoma University Students’ Union), and travel the world through exchange opportunities, all while living in their hometown.

“This information session is designed to prepare students for the next six months,” said Director of Student Recruitment, Brent Krmpotich.  “It is an opportunity for students to find out everything they need to know about the university application process, important dates and deadlines, financial aid information and how Algoma’s programs will help them reach their career goals.”

The event kicks off at 7:00pm in the Shingwauk Auditorium with a welcome address by the University’s President and Vice Chancellor, Dr. Craig Chamberlin.
