Due to ongoing precipitation and predicted decreasing temperatures, unless otherwise noted, as of 5:30 PM today, Thursday, January 19, 2023, the Sault Ste. Marie campus will be CLOSED and all evening classes have been cancelled.
This closure includes:
- Arthur A. Wishart Library
- Computer Labs
- George Leach Centre
- Cafeteria
Only essential personnel such as security and custodial staff should report to work.
Classes are expected to resume as scheduled tomorrow.
The University will continue to monitor the situation and any related updates will be circulated via email, social media, the news section and banner of the Algoma University website.
Students, faculty and staff are advised to use caution at all times and to take weather conditions into consideration when travelling.
