A series of tools and resources have been developed to support the university community in implementing the Policy Framework.

1. The Policy Office

The Policy Office is the first point of contact for all policy matters at Algoma University. It is responsible for the strategic design and implementation of the University’s Policy Framework and provides oversight for the development, review, implementation, and evaluation of policies. The office:

  • Offers expert guidance on interpreting University policies
  • Coordinates and supports policy lifecycle management with Policy Owners
  • Develops resources, tools, and templates to support policy development
  • Leads communication and training for the University community
  • Maintains the official policy repository
  • Receives and addresses policy non-compliance complaints
