Due to inclement winter weather conditions, Algoma University’s Brampton campus (including the Creekbank Site in Mississauga) is closed today.
In-Person Classes: All in-person classes are cancelled for Thursday, January 15, 2026. Unless otherwise notified, all in-person classes will resume as of Friday, January 16, 2026.
Online Classes: Online classes scheduled for January 15 will continue as planned and are not impacted.
Campus Services & Safety Reminder: All in-person campus services are closed.
Given the current weather conditions in Brampton and the campus closure, staff and faculty are encouraged to work with their supervisors to discuss any necessary accommodations and to communicate directly with students as needed.
The University will continue to monitor the situation, and any updates will be shared via email, social media, and the Algoma University website.
