We appreciate your commitment to Algoma University and our students. Through these generous donations, the Student Relief Fund
will be able to provide support to students when they need it most and relieve stressful burdens during their academic year.
Merci, Thank you, and Miigwetch for the impact you have made on a student’s life.
How Algoma University Celebrates Giving Tuesday
The Department of Advancement and Alumni Affairs, in partnership with Algoma University will come together to raise funds in support of our students when they need it most.
This year’s focus on Giving Tuesday
For students who are facing vulnerabilities and challenges including financial pressures that have forced many to make difficult decisions – including whether to use their limited funds to buy food or pay rent.
- transportation and housing needs
- childcare support
- technology needs
- financial support due to job loss while seeking out new opportunities
- food costs
This Giving Tuesday, please consider making a generous gift to
the Student Relief Fund to help ensure our students’ success.
Your gift will make a direct impact on the lives of students who
may not otherwise be able to carry on with their studies because
of the obstacles they are facing.
Consider making a gift on Giving Tuesday! The action of a few
can add up to create a big impact for many.
If you are an Algoma University Faculty or Staff, you can make
your gift through Payroll Deduction and return the form to
Giselle Chiarello, Manager Advancement.
“Giving Tuesday is a chance to give back to the Algoma University student community. Your donation will impact students who are struggling during vulnerable and difficult times. Please support the Student Relief Fund and help make our academic journey a successful one.”
