| Winter Weather Update: Brampton Campus and Creekbank Site CLOSED, In-person Classes CANCELLED for Thursday, February 13, 2025, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM |
Due to inclement winter weather, all in-person classes at Algoma University’s Brampton Campus and Creekbank Site scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2025, between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, are cancelled. Classes will shift to remote delivery, where possible.
All campus services and buildings will be closed. Administrative services will be offered virtually.
The Health and Safety Team will provide an update on the resumption of in-person classes and the reopening of the Brampton Campus and Creekbank Site by 1:00 PM.
Class Schedule Adjustments:
In-person Classes: All in-person classes scheduled between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM EST on Thursday, February 13, 2025, are cancelled and should shift to online delivery if possible.
Online Classes: Online classes scheduled for Thursday, February 13, 2025, will continue as planned and are not impacted.
Health and Safety Considerations:
Given the current weather conditions, staff and faculty are encouraged to discuss any necessary accommodations with their supervisors and to communicate directly with their students. Stay up-to-date on all things weather for the Brampton and Mississauga area.
The University will continue to monitor the situation. Updates will be shared via email, social media, and the Algoma University website.
