On September 30th, 2021 Canadians across our nation are recognizing Orange Shirt Day – a grassroots movement inspired by the story of residential school Survivor, Phyllis Webstad, a Northern Secwepemc (Shuswap) from the Stswecem’c Xgat’tem First Nation and is now officially known as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
