Why Choose the MAP Program?

The MAP program is designed to align with the registration requirements of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). It was developed in collaboration with the community through regular consultation events and advisory committees, reflecting a commitment to ongoing, reciprocal relationships that address the unique needs of the region.

Rooted in the Seven Grandfather Teachings and guided by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s (TRC) Calls to Action, the MAP program integrates Indigenous perspectives and decolonial approaches. In alignment with AU’s Special Mission, the MAP program is grounded in culturally responsive and evidence-informed approaches.
