Balanced budget provides support for students while addressing challenges of pandemic

Faced with a number of challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Algoma University Board of Governors approved a balanced $43.3 million operating budget for the 2020-21 fiscal year.

The Summer Indigenous Institute (SII) is a free month-long transition program for Indigenous students. Launched in July 2019, the program supports Indigenous students as they transition to their undergraduate studies.
