Free Community Dinner and Drum Circle

Join Global Friends and Refugee705 as we bring in the new year with a celebration dinner and multicultural drum circle! This is an opportunity for our community members to meet our newcomer families, share a meal together and connect over the rhythm of the drum. We will be joined by the Healing Lodge Singers and George Al Khoury, a Syrian refugee who spent five years volunteering with youth in Lebanon, using music as a form of therapy to uplift the children living in the camps. If you have a drum or other musical instrument you’d like to share, bring it along and join in the fun!
