(BRAMPTON, SAULT STE. MARIE, TIMMINS, ON- January 11, 2023): Algoma University is proud of its Alumni and the exceptional impacts that they are making across our campus communities, country and around the world. Each year, the accomplishments and achievements of Algoma University Alumni are recognized through two annual awards, presented at the Spring Convocation.

The first is the Alumni Achievement Award, acknowledging the professional, civic, and personal accomplishments of an Algoma U alumnus/a who has graduated within the last 10 years. The second of these prestigious awards is the Distinguished Alumni Award, recognizing the accomplishments of an Algoma University Alumnus/a who has reached the pinnacle of personal and professional achievement in their chosen field.

“The Algoma University Alumni Council are proud to present these two awards to our distinguished alumni year after year,” shared Tee Komsa, Algoma University Alumni Council Chair.  “We are always excited and proud to highlight the many achievements of Algoma University’s former students since graduation and to be able to celebrate their achievements with them. Achieving these awards is held in the highest regard, and the Council looks forward to reviewing all of the applications for 2023!”.
