YMCA Brampton
Algoma University has partnered with the YMCA, ensuring that our students have access to fitness and intramural sports facilities just steps away from our classrooms. Membership at the YMCA is included in your tuition as an Algoma U student, granting access to a variety of amenities including fitness classes such as Zumba and yoga, as well as the gym, weight room, and drop-in sessions for sports like basketball, soccer, badminton, ping-pong, and more.

Bachelor of Business Administration (4 Years)
Having a fundamental understanding of business is a great investment in your future career as it is considered an asset in almost any field. In today’s competitive workforce, most jobs require a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. A business degree will help improve and perfect your communication, presentation, and writing skills, as well as your critical and creative thinking skills.
Students can earn a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with specializations in Accounting, Aviation Management, the Business of Esports, Human Resource Management, and Marketing.
Bachelor of Arts (4 Years) or Bachelor of Arts (3 Years)
Community Economic and Social Development (CESD) provides students with the tools and knowledge to make meaningful change within their community and the world around them. This distinctive interdisciplinary program integrates several disciplines including CESD, social work, sociology, political science, geography, economics, and business administration.
Bachelor of Computer Science (4 Years) or Bachelor of Computer Science (3 Years)
Accelerated Degree in Computer Science (General – 3 Years)
Our program is primarily concerned with the overall theory and application behind the design of algorithms, programming languages, hardware architecture, systems software, application software, and tools. Students gain a strong theoretical and practical foundation in the study of algorithms, programming languages, and the design and construction of computer systems and applications. They will also have a solid foundation in data structure, programming, assembly language programming, computer organization, operating systems, theory, software engineering, algorithms, and computer networking. Courses are also offered in artificial intelligence, human-computer interactions, web data management, and Internet tools, among others.
Bachelor of Arts (4 Years)
By combining both Finance and Economics, students earn a holistic degree, which emphasizes the financial analysis and management side of economics and business administration, and therefore equips students with advanced skills in financial analysis, management, and forecasting skills.

Our Bachelor of Arts psychology program continues to be one of the University’s most popular programs. Our small classes ultimately provide students with individual attention and a more personal student-professor relationship.
Bachelor of Social Work (4 Year, Honours)
Algoma University’s Bachelor of Social Work degree offers generalist social work in preparing students to work with individuals, families, groups, organizations, communities and societies.
