The Departments of Sociology-Anthropology, Geography, Geology and Land Stewardship, and Community Economic and Social Development are members of the new Faculty of Cross-Cultural Studies.

The Faculty of Cross-Cultural Studies (FCCS) includes departments and programs that are committed to decolonizing and indigenizing teaching, learning and academia and have a history of being actively engaged with this work and weaving Indigenous knowledge throughout curriculum and teaching.
