Canada’s Food Price Report states that the average person spends $4,096 a year on groceries. With the soaring costs of living, many students across the country are struggling to make ends meet. Unfortunately, this often means skipping meals.

To kickstart the campaign, Algoma University is donating $50,000 to AUSU. We invite you to join us. Our Giving Tuesday goal is to raise $100,000 for AUSU to support their work and help fight student hunger.

Your Donation goes Toward:

1) Establishing a brand new food pantry at our Brampton Campus

2) Expanding our food pantry at our Sault Ste. Marie Campus

Last Giving Tuesday, we were able to raise $25,500 through the generous support of our community for the Student Relief Fund. Through these donations, we were able to support 17 students when they needed it the most. This year, our goal is to raise $100,000.
