Discover pathways to studies at Algoma University through English Language programs.

To bypass the English Language Test requirement needed for admission to Algoma U, students may complete an English Language program with one of our many spectacular English Language Pathway partners.

Current English Language Pathway Partners:

Students who have completed English for Academic Purposes (EAP) with CES with a result of 80% or higher and meet our academic admission criteria will receive a direct offer of admission to Algoma University.

Students who are currently enrolled with CES OR have received a letter of admission to CES and meet our academic admission criteria will receive a conditional offer of admission to Algoma University’s EAPP Level 5 – Bridging program and their academic program of choice. Completion of General English Level 5 with CES will satisfy this condition.

Students who have completed the EduGlobal College English for Academic Purposes Program (EGC EAPP) Level 3, with an overall average of 70% and no individual band score below 60%, are deemed to have met the English Language proficiency requirement for admission to Algoma University. Students must also meet our academic admission criteria in order to receive an unconditional offer of admission to Algoma University.

Students who are currently enrolled with EduGlobal College OR students who have received a letter of admission to EduGlobal College and have met our academic admission criteria will be eligible to receive a conditional offer of admission to Algoma University.

Students who have completed PW 2.2 with ILAC and meet our academic admission criteria will receive a direct offer of admission to Algoma University.

Students who are currently enrolled with ILAC OR have received a letter of admission to ILAC and meet our academic admission criteria will receive a conditional offer of admission to Algoma University. Completion of PW 2.2 will satisfy this condition.

Students who have completed ILSC’s University Pathway Program (Academic Preparation Level A2) and meet the Algoma University admission criteria will receive a direct offer of admission.

Students who are enrolled at ILSC and meet all other admission requirements for the AU undergraduate program to which they have applied will be issued a Conditional Letter of Acceptance after submitting the application forms and their academic transcripts.

RCIIS Logo

Students who have completed the RCIIS EAP Course with a grade of 70% or higher and meet our academic admission criteria will receive a direct offer of admission to Algoma University.

Students who are currently enrolled with RCIIS OR have received a letter of admission to RCIIS and meet our academic admission criteria will receive a conditional offer of admission to Algoma University. Completion of the RCIIS EAP Course with a grade of 70% will satisfy this condition.
