Join the Men’s and Women’s Thunderbirds Varsity Basketball Teams tip-off against Wilfred Laurier University at the 2022 Shoot for the Cure! Women at 6 PM and Men’s at 8 PM.

During the Women’s half-time, volunteers will donate their hair for the cause! During the Men’s half-time, watch Coach Vetrie and Dave Tudelle get pies in the face! You don’t want to miss this! This weekend will be the first time this season that we will be hosting spectators! We are so excited to have fans back in the stands!

With this, we do have some COVID protocols that we will be following in order to keep everyone safe:

1) We will only host up to 50% capacity. If you arrive at a time in which we have reached this limit, you will not be permitted into the game. However, you can also catch the action on OUA TV.
2) Medical or N95 masks must be worn at all times.
3) No food or beverage will be permitted into the gym.
4) You must present you QR code upon entry. You will not be allowed inside without this.
5) Stickers will be placed 6 feet apart in the stands as a guideline for where to sit.
6) Spectators must stay in designated seating for spectators. No spectators outside of OUA staff, coaches, and athletes should be seated behind the teams.
7) Algoma U staff, students, and GLC members will have free admission.
8) Adults 18+ will pay $5.00 at the door.
