Sounds of Asia – History of Anti-Asian Racism in Canada

The Asian Racism Awareness Working Group cordially invites you to join us for “Sounds of Asia”. We are excited to host a virtual workshop to help you gain a better understanding of the history of anti-Asian racism in Canada. We will also have a fun Jeopardy game and provide some amazing lunch.

This workshop will help you better understand the history of anti-Asian racism in Canada.

By the end of the presentation, all participants will:
• Learn about specific forms that anti-Asian racism takes (in the workplace and elsewhere), why they are so pervasive, and how to counter them
• Learn about and identify how anti-Asian racism and other forms of racism in the workplace are connected to each other
• Engage with ideas, actions, and collective campaigns that everyone can do to challenge anti-Asian racism, and all forms of racism in the workplace.
