Weekly Bike Rentals

Do you need to borrow a bike for a week? You’re in the right place! Borrow an Algoma bike to commute to campus, grab groceries, work or just for fun!

AU Bike Share is a FREE bike-lending program for Algoma students on the SSM campus, and our office is located at Townhouse 15 (Student Life Office).  Weekly rentals will begin on May 21st 2024 with regular operation hours, be sure to register and book your appointment before arriving to retrieve your bike!

How does it work?

• Students can ‘sign out’ a bike using a google form
• Bikes can be taken out on a weekly basis
• AU Student ID # and Enrollment Verification required 
• Book an appointment to pick up bike rental & schedule bike returns
• Bikes must be returned after one week during operational hours (Mon to Fri 9am – 4pm)

Can I reserve the bikes?

There are no reservations available for the bikes as they are on a first come, first serve basis only. Currently there are a limited number of bikes but the plan is to expand the program according to demand.
