Algoma University’s Sault Ste. Marie campus welcomed over 1,000 community members at the annual trick-or-treat fundraising event.
Exploring twelve themed stations across campus, guests enjoyed fun decorations, great costumes and some tasty snacks at the end of the route.
“AUSU is very grateful to the entire community for coming out and supporting the pantry and the CSAA, especially with the inclement weather and date change,” shared the AUSU Food Pantry. “Through generous donations, just under $500 was raised, and 200 food items were donated to the Pantry. On behalf of our students, thank you, and we can’t wait to see everyone next year!”
“It was fantastic to welcome everyone back to our campus,” shared Rachel Rankin, Manager, Student Life Operations. “We have such a generous community, and it’s really exciting to see so many kids and families come out and support this event!”
The University extends its sincere gratitude to the Sault Ste. Marie community for their ongoing generosity and support, and thank all the wonderful volunteers who helped make this event possible.
