Algoma University’s Community Halloween Trick-or-Treat

Join Algoma University, the Algoma University Students’ Union (AUSU) and the Shingwauk Anishinaabe Students’ Association (SASA) as we welcome back our Community Halloween Trick-or-Treat event this year with a drive-through twist. The event will be taking place on the afternoon of Saturday, October 30th, 2021 at the Sault Ste. Marie campus.
With considerations surrounding COVID, the traditional indoor event will now take place completely outdoors.
Families are encouraged to dress in costume and enjoy a drive-through trick-or-treat around the University’s campus, where they will have the opportunity to fill their bags with goodies and treats at specified stations. Those attending this event must stay in their vehicles at all times. All those handing out candy will be masked and sanitizing frequently.
Those in attendance are encouraged to donate to the AUSU Food Pantry to participate. Serving a large number of students every week, the Pantry addresses immediate food security needs faced by students on the Sault Ste. Marie campus and donations are greatly appreciated.
