The anti-oppression training will help Algoma University’s staff, faculty, students and admin develop a safe, accepting and welcoming environment for everyone. This program will also analyze and challenge the discrimination and injustices affecting different social groups.

We will learn things like how to engage with different types of communities; being mindful of different life experiences and know how to intervene in situations where there is a racist or homophobic interaction.
