Event Overview

Dr. Michele Piercey-Normore, Vice-President Academic and Research, will attend the launch to bring greetings. The Centre’s Director, Dr. Saud Taj, will lead a short presentation that outlines the Centre’s ongoing initiatives and future plans, including professional development workshops, teaching demonstrations, collaborations, etc., as well as its commitment to the university’s Indigenization, Decolonization, and EDI efforts. There will be time for a Question and Answer period, as well.

A short networking reception will follow, with catering provided by Feeding Your Soul Café and non-alcoholic beverages provided by The Speakeasy.
