This annual event serves to honour the memory of John R. Rhodes by raising funds to offer this prestigious scholarship to meritorious students at Algoma University. Each year, up to four students may carry this scholarship, requiring a total financial commitment of $12,000 per year.

Each year, the John Rhodes Scholarship Dinner Planning Committee selects an honourary recipient who embodies the integrity, leadership, vision and commitment to community services that was the hallmark of John R. Rhodes.

This year’s dinner honours “The Hollingsworth Family” and the tremendous contribution they have made within our community over a number of generations.
