Join us virtually with Justin Milne, a 2nd year Mi’kmaq student at Algoma U. He will share the art of quilling with birch bark and how he became familiar with this beautiful representation of being Anishinaabe. Justin will demonstrate how to clean and sort quills, the undertaking to dye them. He will discuss how to choose the birchbark and the whole process of designing and creating earrings. He will also share his works of art in progress and can share tips on how you can get started should you decide this is a craft you would like to take up!
