Cancer Awareness Night

The Varsity Thunderbirds will host its annual Cancer Awareness Night on January 13th when we host Brock University in a basketball double header. Over the last 10 years, this event has created awareness for local supports and helped raise thousands of dollars for the Canadian Cancer Society. It has been tradition to  recognize members of our Thunderbird family who have had their lives affected by cancer. This year we will show our support for Albert Lucarelli and Karen Clark , members of our Physical Plant and Custodial teams, who are living the fight. Please join us on January 13th at 6pm and 8pm at the George Leach Centre to show our support for Albert, Karen and their families.
