Residence Application

Whether living in our dormitories or in our townhouses, all of Algoma University’s residence options feature a private, single room.


We are currently accepting applications for Fall/Winter residence, however due to the situation created by COVID-19, residence accommodations cannot be guaranteed at this time. Please submit your application and we will forward information when available.

Move in date for Spring Session is Saturday May 30th, 2020
Move in date for Fall/Winter Session is Saturday Sept 5th, 2020

Apply For Residence

Before you begin your application you will need:

  • Your Algoma U student number (if you do not have an Algoma U student number, you can use your phone number to apply)
  • A valid email address

Deposits can be paid by online banking, or if you wish to make the payment by credit card contact Student Accounts at 705-949-2301, ext.4723 Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm.

International students may also make bank transfers. Please contact the Coordinator of Housing to request a bank transfer form.
